Rich tradition of Yoga has many things to offer to an individual as well as to the entire society collectively. Yogic practices can be proven extremely helpful for the sportspersons in improving their stamina, strength, flexibility, and their physical and mental fitness. Yoga can definitely help them in having balanced mind during the stressful moments of the game and their sports career. 

This Diploma Program is designed specially for sports-persons and Athletes that will enhance their performance and improve their body-mind connection. Along with Yoga practices, syllabus of this Program includes allied topics like Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Ethics and, Diet and Nutrition.

Eligibility

1. HSC or equivalent.

2. Prior knowledge of Yoga is not required.

3. Candidate should be active sportsperson

Pedagogy

Lectures and practical sessions will be conducted in the workshop mode. Sessions for this Diploma cannot be conducted on regular basis, because the students enrolling for this Diploma programme will be sports-persons, and they have to take part in the competitions and tournaments for which they have to travel a lot.
