Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
Timing: 7.00 am to 8.00 am  

 

This programme addresses the needs of students who would like to begin the study of Yoga with the practical aspects. Students will be introduced to various types of asana-s, breathing practices, kriya-s., bandha-s and mudra-s.

Throughout the duration of the programme, the efficacy of these practices and their positive impact on the physical and mental well-being of an individual are also taught with reference to the ancient textual tradition. As such, a strong foundation is established in the principles that define the exercises and students get a glimpse into the depth of larger philosophical tradition of Yoga.

Eligibility

1. HSC or equivalent examination. 

2. Prior knowledge of Yoga is not required.

 

Pedagogy

Teaching-learning occurs with the practical sessions. Various types of exercises, kriya-s, mudra-s are taught in authentic way.
