We are pleased to invite you to a Text-reading Workshop on Vedāntasāra.

About the workshop -

‘Vedāntasāra - Essence of Vedānta’ is an important text on Advaita Vedānta written by Sadānanda Yogendra Sarasvati in the 15th century A. D. The text explains the basic concepts of Advaita Vedānta, such as inter-connection of Vedānta and Upaniṣads, sādhana-catuṣṭaya, concept of Brahman and Māyā, vyaṣṭi-samaṣṭi, pancīkaraṇa, three states of jīva, interpretation of mahāvākyas etc. The workshop will cover the complete text of Vedāntasāra along with the discussion on comparative aspects of other Indian philosophical traditions.

No prior knowledge of Sanskrit or philosophy is required. Medium of instruction will be English.
