It is our immense pleasure to invite you all for "Workshop on Ancient Indian Languages:  Sanskrit, Prakrit and Buddhist Sanskrit". 

This is the second workshop in the series of workshops on Ancient Indian Languages. This workshop is organized with the financial assistance under Ashtaadashi Scheme: 9.2.4 of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

Ancient languages are the window to explore our past. This workshop will provide an unique opportunity to study ancient Indian languages focusing on their linguistic and grammatical characteristics. Studying these languages together and understanding their interconnectedness equip us to study ancient Indian literature and help to improve our understanding of the past. These languages were the main medium of instruction and include a variety of literary genres. All those interested in learning Sanskrit and Prakrit are welcome to register for the workshop. 

At the end of the workshop a certificate of completion will be provided to the participants.
